THE 101

Event Focus: Be a fire-fighter for a day! Use your Bot to save people from a burning three stored building. Construction of a Manual bot with a hand mechanism capable of rescue operations in a building on fire.

Day 1

Preliminary Round: A building is on fire and there are people trapped in it. Make a manual controlled robot with a hand mechanism, which can climb stairs and rescue the people trapped inside the building. Initial obstacles and task on pre-fabricated arena.

Day 2

Final Round: The arena for the final round will be disclosed on the spot.

Bot Specification:

  1. Each bot should fit inside a box of (30*30*30) cm (with 10% tolerance allowed). Including the or grabbing mechanism.
  2. The maximum weight of bot should not exceed 3 kg.
  3. The potential difference between any two electrical points on the bot must not exceed 20 volts throughout the run.

Rules (same for both days):

  1. Team participation with minimum 3 or maximum 5 members.
  2. Not allowed: participation in more than 1 team, Sharing Bots between teams, Construction using ready-made lego kits or any ready-made machine.
  3. All rules are subject to change without prior information.

FEEL THE THRILL

Event Focus: Race against time and overcome hurdles to reach your destination. Ready to be Fast and Furious!

Day 1

Preliminary Round: Single wireless controlled bot is required. The bot has to the climb inclined path, place blocks, overcome the obstacles. Inclination will be less than 30 degrees.

Day 2

Final Round: The arena for the second round will be disclosed on the spot.

Bot Specification:

  1. Each bot should fit inside a box of (30*30*30) cm (with 10% tolerance allowed). Including the or grabbing mechanism.
  2. The Bot should be strictly wireless. Batteries used should be kept on the bot and should be sealed.
  3. The maximum weight of bot should not exceed 3 kg.
  4. The potential difference between any two electrical points on the bot must not exceed 17 volts throughout the run.

Rules (same for both days):

  1. Team participation with minimum 3 or maximum 5 members.
  2. Not allowed: participation in more than 1 team, Sharing Bots between teams, Construction using ready-made lego kits or any ready-made machine.
  3. All rules are subject to change without prior information.

Event Focus: Play soccer using your Bot and score some goals. Do you think you got the skills?

Day 1

Preliminary Round: The ball will be placed at one side of the arena and you need to hit a goal on the other side of the arena. The arena will have many obstacles of different colors while moving.

Day 2

Final Round: This is a one-on-one event in which two robots will take on each other time. Each robot has to try scoring more number of goals than the other. There are no obstacles in this round on the arena.

Bot Specification:

  1. The size of the robot must not exceed 25cm * 25cm * 25cm. Individual parameters to be measured with a tolerance of 10%.
  2. The maximum weight of bot should not exceed 3 kg.
  3. The potential difference between any two electrical points on the bot must not exceed 15 volts throughout the run.

Note: This event is only for 1st year AOT B.Tech students.

LINE ON FIRE

Event Focus: Program your Bot to follow your commands.Time for your bot to ride solo. Dont forget to beat the heat!

Day 1

Preliminary Round: Two bots will be placed simultaneously on the track. Each bot has to follow its own path and reach the destination to perform certain task.

Day 2

Final Round: The Bot will have to perform similar task like the prelims. Here the track length will be long and will have right angle turns, intersections, curves.

Bot Specification:

  1. The size of the robot must not exceed 23cm * 23cm * 23cm.. Individual parameters to be measured with a tolerance of 10%.
  2. The width of line will be 3cm (approx.).
  3. The potential difference between any two points on the robot must not exceed 18V.

  1. Team participation with maximum 5 members.
  2. Not allowed: participation in more than 1 team, Sharing Bots between teams, Construction using ready-made lego kits or any ready-made machine.
